It was on the occasion of the launch of the website for the Institute for Mother and Child (IME) that three Digital Campus Rennes students gathered on Tuesday 2 April at the Hôpital Sud. Their challenge? To present the result of long months of research and creative work as part of the Major Projects programme, in front of doctors, executives, department heads and other hospital professionals…

"I chose this topic for two reasons: the humanitarian cause, which has always interested me — helping doctors who make it their profession was the least I could do — and the complexity of the project, combining both print and digital in a world that had to be built entirely from scratch: that was our challenge!" explains Baptiste, a student in the intensive-track Bachelor's degree and project manager.

New website, new logo, new flyer, new posters (…) a major challenge for the group of six Bachelor's and Master's preparatory students who managed to bring a real breath of fresh air to give visibility to the noble cause championed by the association: improving the hospitalisation conditions of children and developing medical research. "The first internal commitment was to manage to understand everyone's skills in order to move the project forward while feeling comfortable and learning. On the client side: with a large team facing us, and many expectations that needed to be framed, the decisions were sometimes long and difficult to make. My role was therefore that of coordinator and somewhat of mediator between these two worlds, so that this project would remain a good memory for everyone."

"It was a great experience! At first, it involved skills I didn't have, but I still took care of the website, so it brought me a lot." says Salomé, a Master's preparatory student at the Digital Campus Rennes web school.

A real-life experience, above all a human one, which was warmly applauded, including by the association's president, Patrick Pladys.

"The clients were really invested with us: we collaborated in a good relationship and then they thanked us a lot for the work we provided. It's always nice to be recognised for what you do! What's more, it's an association with a wonderful cause that we had to highlight: nothing but benefits!" concludes Salomé.

A big congratulations to Baptiste, Salomé, Marion, Alexia, Sklaerenn and Corentin for their work!
