Portrait of Sophie Degremont, a student in the Bachelor Web Project Manager programme at Digital Campus, the web school in Bordeaux.
What were you doing before joining Digital Campus?
Before joining the Bachelor Web Project Manager programme at Digital Campus, I was completing a Foundation Year in Applied Arts (MANAA) at the applied arts and design school ECRAN. I am currently in my 2nd year of the Bachelor, the final year of the common core before choosing a specialisation (web design, web marketing, web development).
Why did you choose this next-generation school?
I chose Digital Campus because the school offered training that suited me: covering the key areas of multimedia and digital — namely print, web, and video. Indeed, the digital and multimedia world is expanding rapidly.
What are your expectations for this programme?
I would like to be able to enter the workforce directly at the end of this training (ideally continuing with the same agency after my work-study placement). My work-study is currently with the company SOGEDEC. I handle the graphic design and multimedia side (community management, graphic design, etc.)
Have you taken part in or created any artistic, community, or sporting projects?
I was able to take part in the Semaine Digitale and the Nuit Digitale (editions 2012 and 2013) as a volunteer. For the occasion, I produced the teaser for the Parcours Sonore and the Nuit Digitale 2013.
What are your professional ambitions?
In terms of professional ambitions, I would like to work at a communications agency as a graphic designer and also work independently as an illustrator.
