Continuing our series of portraits dedicated to Digital Campus students, the digital school in Rennes, with Elise Rault, a first-year student in the Expert in Digital Strategy Master's program.

What is your background?

After my baccalaureate, I wanted to pursue studies in communication. I enrolled in a Communication BTS program in Dinan. Those two years were enriching, combining coursework and two seven-week internships, and confirmed my desire to continue in this field.

After obtaining my BTS, I joined the Bachelor in Commerce Marketing at ESGCF, the business school in Rennes. I really appreciated the teaching approach there. The courses matched my expectations and genuinely helped me develop my skills.

After the bachelor's, I chose to continue with a work-study contract in the Expert in Digital Strategy Master's program starting in the autumn of 2014. Alongside my studies, I work as a Community Manager for an engineering school in Rennes.

What do you think of your training program?, This master's program is a genuine complement to the studies I had done previously. It provides me with all the digital skills that are essential in today's professional world. The program covers the entire digital sphere within a business context: digital strategy, web marketing, web development, web design, law, project management…, On top of that, the work-study placement is a major asset, as it allows me to apply my theoretical knowledge directly in a professional environment., In your view, why is Digital Campus a unique school?, Unlike most programs offered at other schools or universities, the teaching and administrative team at Digital Campus is completely attentive to our needs. Moreover, the instructors are working professionals, meaning they are in tune with the realities of the professional world., But what makes our school truly unique is the role given to students: they are the driving force behind their own education. In the master's program, we take part in the project incubator — a real opportunity to develop a project that reflects who we are and in which a team believes in us. Some students start their own companies, others join established businesses… The diversity of our projects, our work-study positions, and our individual backgrounds make our cohort a genuine pool of skills!
What are your expectations for your Master's program?, I expect this program to be as hands-on as possible and to make me fully operational from the moment I enter the job market., What are your long-term plans?, I would like to work as a digital communications manager in a company or an agency.
