Completing her education and launching her own project

After studying corporate communication at the University of
Nancy and nearly 20 years of experience in communication, particularly in the field of training, Martine Kany took the leap and founded AssoUp: a support and advisory organisation for players in the social and solidarity economy.

A look back at her project and her experience in Professional Training at Digital Campus.

Digidej:

1 hour to understand everything about professional training at Digital Campus.

I want to find out more!

“Digital Campus gave me direction, the desire to persevere on this path. I am truly delighted with this programme.”

Martine Kany, graduate of Professional Training at Digital Campus

Why did you want to go back into training?

I had always wanted to complement my university background with training in the digital field. It was missing from my skill set. In communication professions, digital is essential.

Why did you choose to train at Digital Campus? What did it bring you?

I looked online, and this programme matched my aspirations. It gave me what I am today: the founder of AssoUp, and it allowed me to see my project through to the end.

You created your company supporting and advising players in the social and solidarity economy, called AssoUp. Was this a project you had in mind before joining Digital Campus? How did the idea come about?

Yes, I had this project in mind for a while. My background made me aware of my desire to give to others. I put meaning into making all of my professional actions a reality. Today, I want to offer this sensitivity to the social and solidarity economy sector.
Between the initial project and today, let's say I “pivoted” and adapted to the market's needs in light of the current context.

Do you have any advice for people who would like to retrain or embark on an entrepreneurial adventure?

Always follow your course, and remember that you are the captain of your ship: you are alone in every decision. You need to surround yourself with the right people. And don't forget that you have to redouble your energy, because the road is long, but never give up. I'm only just getting started.

Why would you recommend Digital Campus?

Digital Campus gave me direction, the desire to persevere on this path. Instructors of great human and professional quality. A new perspective on entrepreneurship and an opening onto the digital world. I am truly delighted with this programme.
