Discover the testimony of Céline Boissinot, a lecturer for students at Digital Campus Toulouse.
What is your background? I trained in e-tourism, but my expertise and know-how come primarily from experience and self-learning. I worked in web and tourist information systems, then in web and community management for institutional bodies across various economic sectors, before going freelance. How do you view the Digital Campus training programme? This programme is very comprehensive: it combines practical skills with strategic studies. Its key strength: bringing in active industry professionals as lecturers.
What do you want to pass on to your students? Skills, expertise, real-world case studies, feedback from experience — and let's not forget interpersonal skills. What are the career prospects for your students? Diverse and varied! How would you define your speciality? The eighteen-legged sheep of digital communications. What is your working method? Listening to the brief, discussing needs and solutions, monitoring trends and networking, reviewing statistics, evaluating results and drawing up action plans. What tools do you use? CMS, Google Analytics/Adwords/Web Toolkit, social networks, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, CRM, project management tools… A final word? Fellow students, don't miss this opportunity! Once you're in, make the most of your studies by building your professional network from the outset — with lecturers, with companies offering you internships, or at the many professional events organised in Toulouse by La Mêlée and others.
