Agathe Forzy is Head of Partnerships at Digital Campus Lyon; she tells us about her background, her role within Digital Campus, and more.
Who are you, where do you come from? Agathe Forzy, mother of three girls and immersed in the web for the past three years thanks to Digital Campus; I support the school's strong growth in Lyon. Today I'm a "slasher" with three roles: Head of Partnerships for Digital Campus Lyon, coordinator of the Facebook Ambassadors programme for the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, and co-leader of the L Digital #Education foundation, which raises women's awareness of the opportunities in the digital sector.
What is your background? After 15 years in media, working in advertising sales at France Télévisions Publicité where I managed the sales teams, I was drawn to the innovation of the higher education sector. I was previously Development Director at EMLYON Business School before joining Digital Campus Lyon, which had only just been founded in Lyon—but I immediately believed in its potential.
What is your role at Digital Campus? Developing corporate and institutional partnerships, serving the needs of companies, DC's teaching approach and student satisfaction. I also support adult learners undergoing a career change, helping them build their network within the web ecosystem and define their new professional projects.
Your vision of corporate relations and partnerships? Closeness to companies is key to students' employability. With the constant emergence of new professions in the web sector, we are taking a win-win approach further, where each party—students and companies—learns and grows through contact with the other. That is the whole point of real-world projects (run for startups, associations, and small and large companies), hackathons, and meetings with professionals. In this context, where companies are at the heart of the school, we foster collective intelligence, openness and mutual support.
What does a typical day look like? It's simple, I don't feel like I'm working... working alongside a really lovely Lyon team. Day to day, it's all about: conversations, projects, flexibility, agility, innovation, ambition, autonomy, openness, and new encounters.
Your vision of teaching: DC is THE right teaching approach, in the right place, at the right time to train tomorrow's WEB managers. A highly flexible teaching approach to adapt to new needs, professional instructors, real-world projects, and a strong connection with the ecosystem.
A closing word about DC? Digital Campus: a passport to the future and an essential mission to support companies in their digital transformation. #WeAreDC #CampusRegion
