The web developer
The web developer is the person who develops an interface tailored to their client (whether a website, intranet, application or other). The developer's mission is to understand and analyse the client's needs, after which they can propose a solution to the client. In addition to developing the solution, the developer will also take care of training the client to use the tool.
The qualities
The web developer must be self-reliant, but must also demonstrate team spirit, since they may work with other departments (web design, web marketing, etc.). They must also show rigour in meeting deadlines, and listening skills towards clients and members of their team. The web developer is most often self-taught and curious to learn new things.

What salary?

A web developer's salary will vary according to several criteria such as geographic location, the type of company, experience, their specialisation, and so on.

For a beginner, the average salary is €25K, and it can rise up to €45K with more experience. Pay increases according to experience.

What training?

Digital Campus offers a one-year Web Developer programme. On the initial track, however, you will have a 2- to 3-month internship to complete at the end of the year.

Digital Campus, the web school, also offers a Web Development Master's degree - lasting 2 years, available in Bordeaux and Rennes

It is important to know that Digital Campus recruits potential above all and does not base its decision on your academic grades or your profile. We primarily seek to assess three criteria: ability to understand, logic and autonomy.
