Web marketing : we hear about it everywhere, and it gets associated with everything — buzz, social media, websites...
Good news! The actual definition is pretty close: it covers all the marketing and advertising techniques used in an online environment.
The web marketer uses several techniques to promote a product or service:
-          Emailing: sending mass emails to multiple contacts
-          Display advertising: buying ad space online
-          Sponsored links: commercial listings
-          Social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn…)
-          Platforms built specifically for users to share experiences, ideas, and more…
Whereas a few years ago a single web marketer handled multiple tasks, today this web marketer has become a specialist, thanks to the variety of web marketing programmes. Companies now have a dedicated expert for each task: an SEO specialist, an e-reputation manager, a web integrator…
Digital is a world in constant flux. While we talk about a specific job today, that same job will have evolved tomorrow and the tasks will be different.

Through web marketing programmes, the web marketer (or digital marketing specialist) will develop key skills:

  •  Analytical thinking: an undeniable asset in web-related professions.
  • Technical proficiency: knowing a few programming languages is a plus in most cases, especially when competing against other candidates.
  • Managerial and organisational skills: working as part of a team is common in this field.

Whether you live in Rennes, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Lyon, or anywhere else — don't waste another minute: come and enrol at our web marketing school, Digital Campus!
