Data, statistics, trends… does that ring a bell?!

Whether you are an aspiring professional, already experienced, or simply curious — Nataniel Bahs, Data Intelligence expert and lecturer at Digital Campus, shares his top 3 tools for collecting and analysing web and SEO data.

First up is SEMrush.fr, a very interesting and comprehensive platform for in-depth website and competitive analysis — keyword positioning, traffic and much more. To start with, whether you are a student or already working in a role, it is worth knowing you have a true Swiss Army knife tool at your disposal, capable of addressing different needs and giving you a global overview.

The second tool is Alyze.info. It is a free SEO and website data extraction tool. It ranks the most used words per page with scoring, provides free mini SEO audits, and when you are working within a small structure it lets you bring serious expertise to the table — highly recommended!

Gephi.org is the world-leading data visualisation software, created by French developers for the world — an incredibly powerful tool that allows you to visualise millions of data points and understand a vast range of issues. They have recently released major updates, and for anyone who has already used this software, they have finally added Ctrl+Z, so you will now be able to undo actions.

And the bonus tool? It is our website First-link.fr — we have a blog packed with tips and infographics explaining social media algorithms, how SEO really works on the algorithmic side, as well as plenty of territory and market analyses to help understand broader societal issues.
