Collaboration at the heart of every project
From May 22 to 26, first-year students from ESG Sport had the opportunity to take part in a workshop led by Digital Campus instructors.
Indeed, the ENOVA campus in Toulouse stands out for the advantage of being a multidisciplinary campus, which enhances the cross-disciplinary skill sets of our students and fosters exchange and collaboration between the various schools on site.
This intensive one-week program allowed students to put their creative and marketing skills into practice by designing a complete sporting event. Teams of three were challenged to create and conceptualize the event, develop its visual identity, and produce a promotional video for it.
Discover in detail the program that fueled their imagination and entrepreneurial spirit.
Creating a sporting event
Students began the week by creating an original sporting event. Whether a match, a competition, a multi-sport showcase, or even an e-sport contest, each team had to write a detailed concept note describing their event. Key aspects included the target audience, date, venue, and the economic model of the event, including pricing, partnerships, and other funding sources.
Designing the visual identity of the event
Having established the foundations of their project, teams then set about creating a unique visual universe. They explored visual concepts, colors, typography, and graphic elements to bring it to life. Students then applied their vision by designing one or more materials such as a poster, a landing page, a flyer, and visuals adapted for social media.
Creating a promotional video
To give their event maximum visibility, each group put their video production skills to the test. They created a teaser designed to capture the attention of their target audience. Drawing on their creativity and the editing techniques they had learned, they successfully conveyed the essence of their event and generated engagement among potential attendees.
This workshop led by Digital Campus offered students from the B1 Sport program an immersive experience in the world of digital. By working in teams, they were able to develop their skills in marketing, visual communication, and video production. The week stimulated their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, enabling them to design and promote a sporting event. The Digital Campus team is delighted to see these students apply these valuable skills in their future careers and congratulates them on their commitment and dedication.
