In November, our 3rd-year bachelor students took part in their first competition of the 2024-25 academic year with a brief set by Arcom. The main theme of the competition: shedding light on the consequences of disinformation through impactful communication strategies.
The mission: create an impactful awareness campaign to inform and protect the general public against disinformation
From analysing the current context, to identifying the risks linked to disinformation, through to the Big Idea and the development of an omnichannel strategy.
The students' mission was to demonstrate the concrete effects of disinformation through the ideation of a coherent creative concept, connecting all specialisms:
- UX Design
- Motion Design
- Web Design
- Web Development
- Digital Marketing and Influence.
The project partner
The students were called upon by ARCOM* to support them in their greatest challenge: raising public awareness of responsible and informed media consumption.
Divided into groups of 10, they worked as an agency commissioned by ARCOM to carry out this project.
*ARCOM, the Autorité de Régulation de la communication audiovisuelle et numérique (Regulatory Authority for Audiovisual and Digital Communication), is an independent French public body created in 2022.
The theme: fake news
Social media are an indispensable source of information, but also fertile ground for disinformation and the spread of fake news.
Arcom invited our students to create campaigns to raise public awareness of responsible and informed information consumption, as well as the impact that disinformation can have on health, the environment and political choices.
Four groups particularly caught the jury's attention — here is the podium:
Infaux - audience award
Learn to see the bigger picture
Check-it - jury award
Checking information means breaking disinformation.
Plutôt 2 Qu'Une – Special AI Mention
For this competition, the use of artificial intelligence tools is encouraged to optimise creativity and content production, as well as to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables. The group behind the campaign Plutôt 2 Qu'Une particularly stood out for their intuitive and creative use of AI!
