What a joy!

We had been dreaming of it for so long — and it's finally happened. We are all together again, across our campuses throughout France. What a pleasure to welcome students, lecturers and teams back in one place, sharing life at Digital Campus. A look back at those first events of the year, which let us rediscover the joy of being together in person.

After long months of school life shaped by health restrictions, our campuses are coming back to life thanks to the long-awaited return of our students. Teams, lecturers and — above all — students are finally reunited in spaces that feel more alive than ever.

Masks are still in place, as are hand sanitisers and social distancing measures, but classes are no longer remote. The energy of in-person teaching is back, to the delight of everyone.

Among the highlights that mark life at Digital Campus, there is of course the end-of-year gala and graduation ceremony. After a two-year health-related hiatus, it was the Paris campus that first sent out invitations for a ceremony dedicated to the class of 2021 — and to the class of 2020, who had to wait an extra year! All our campuses across France will be celebrating Digital Campus graduates throughout the month of December.

The perfect occasion to get dressed up and spend an evening with our now-alumni (our graduates).

The student unions (BDEs) are also back in action! Fresher events, afternoon get-togethers, community projects, video game tournaments… With the BDEs, these are the moments that make up student life and are an integral part of the Digital Campus experience.

It was in Rennes that the BDE sprang back into action right from the start of term. A first meeting to plan out the year, and a first project: the Halloween party. To better prepare for the return of student events, awareness sessions on consent and alcohol consumption were held in each class. An evening that set a wonderful tone for the festive and even community-focused events to come.
