The Digital Campus Hackathon: a way to bring our students together before or after the Digital Campus Major Projects
The 2017-2018 academic year will be punctuated by three Hackathons:
The Hackatown in partnership with TECHNOWEST-NEWTON - 20 and 21 SEPTEMBER 2017
The Hackarton in partnership with the CAPC - 27 and 28 SEPTEMBER 2017
The Hackanews with SUD OUEST, 1 Kubator and the Ijba - 5 and 6 OCTOBER 2017
Since it was established in 2012, Digital Campus has organised student challenges on a small or large scale. These 24-hour or 48-hour adventures began with a class of 26 students; today they continue with 290 students.
Our teaching team's goal?
To make our students even more professional and effective on specific topics while meeting tighter deadlines than usual; to give them an unforgettable experience that will help them get to know one another, work as a team and fuel their motivation to work together on future projects; to bring them a network through regional project leaders working on real-world challenges.
Since 2015, our school has become an expert in organising this type of event: from design to collaboration with regional partners, sometimes also involving schools such as the Ijba or Sciences Po.
Our students in the Bachelor's or Master's programmes enjoy looking back on their experience at the Hackathons for FrenchTech, C-Discount, Les Echos, or the Hackanews with Sud Ouest alongside our partner 1 Kubator.
