Presentation of the Digital Campus 2013 flagship projects.

On 26 June, an important event took place in the lives of the students of Digital Campus Bordeaux: the presentation of the "flagship projects, 2013 edition".

A grand gathering that brought to a close a year of intense work, across all levels, on projects entrusted to the students by local companies. A highlight of this programme is the "micro-agency" model, which is set up at the same time as the teams. A deep dive into the heart of the professional world. A meaningful journey: from taking the brief to presenting the projects. The spotlight is on the projects that made our students of the Web Project Manager Bachelor's programme - three years of higher education tick… and the heart of an entire school beat, because at Digital Campus, the internet school of Bordeaux, team spirit is undeniably present.

Flagship projects, or the transformation of students into professionals

Understanding the client, meeting their expectations, respecting deadlines and budgets, being heeded for your know-how and expertise, having a broad knowledge of the field and being innovative: this requires rubbing shoulders with the best and being fully immersed at all times. Only a teaching approach based on the delivery of real projects brought by real clients can make this acceleration of training possible. This is what the flagship projects are all about.

A schedule worthy of the big agencies

June 2012 to September 2012: Digital Campus Bordeaux receives and analyses a number of projects submitted by companies, institutions and associations.

End of September 2012: Selection of the projects by the management.

October 2012: Analysis of student profiles from the first to the third year: skill levels across the school's three core fields (Web Marketing, Web Design & Web Development) + specific skills (software use) + interests + spelling level, English level…

Early November 2012: Official presentation of the projects by the sponsors (agency directors, marketing managers, developers, etc.) in front of all the students of Digital Campus and of the partner schools who would like to come and help the teams. The students select the three projects that interest them the most. The teams are created by the Academic Department. Each student has a role to play within their team: coordinator, design lead, developer, integrator, marketer, etc.

Mid-November 2012: Official launch of the projects

June 2013: presentations of the seven selected projects to the panel
