Digital Campus Bordeaux at the Morpheus Cup.
Last Tuesday 19 May, three teams from the Web Project Manager Bachelor at Digital Campus Bordeaux took part in the first edition of the Morpheus Cup, held in Luxembourg.This international competition brings together higher education schools and universities teaching digital professions at the European level.
As soon as they arrived on site at 8:30 am, the students discovered the venue where the final of the Cup would take place. Held as part of the ICT Spring trade show, the championship gathered 70 teams from more than 15 nationalities. The morning was devoted to themed challenges such as quizzes on digital culture and writing a multimedia concept to engage football supporters... all in a very focused atmosphere. In the afternoon, teams were asked to produce a real-time deliverable based on their chosen theme. Our three student teams chose the Design category; the goal was to compete among Digital Campus students but above all to win this round, in which the organisers required the creation of a web design in record time.
First place in the competition in the web design category was won hands down by our 3rd-year Bachelor students out of 70 teams: Mayssa Mendjelli, Tess Sinamal and Alexandre Ung. Our 2nd-year Bachelor students took second place in the standings: Fabien Cangini, Thomas Dalle and Joffrey Gentreau. In the competition's overall standings, our students came 4th and 7th.
