What is a mid-year intake in January 2026?
The mid-year intake gives students the opportunity to begin their studies outside the traditional September start period. It is particularly suited to those who wish to change direction without losing an academic year. It allows students to join a programme at a different point in the calendar, typically in January or February. This alternative is ideal for students who, after reflection, wish to change their field of study, or for those who have fallen behind in their application process. Moreover, it offers a second chance to those who want to avoid a gap year while joining a new academic or university pathway.

How to prepare for the mid-year intake?
The mid-year intake is not just an opportunity to join a programme outside of the traditional periods — it is also a challenge that requires a certain level of preparation. Here are some tips to help you get ready for this new adventure:
1. Assess your motivations
Before diving in, take the time to reflect on your personal and professional goals. Why do you want to change your field of study? What do you expect from this programme? Clearly defining your motivations will help you stay focused and succeed in your journey.
2. Get organised to join our programme
The mid-year intake comes with an intensive programme, designed to allow students to catch up with those who started in September. You will therefore need to be ready to follow a demanding course schedule with a significant amount of personal study. Think about organising your timetable from the outset to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
3. Make the most of your internship to find a work-study placement
One of the key advantages of the Mastère Prep mid-year intake is the emphasis placed on the internship. These professional experiences are not only an essential complement to your theoretical learning, but they also allow you to build your network and prepare your entry into the job market. Find out in advance about the partner companies of your school and start preparing your CV and applications. Your internship will give you a first professional experience in the digital field, which will be a real asset when looking for a work-study placement afterwards.
4. Benefit from personalised support
Digital Campus in Paris provides personalised follow-up for each student. Whether it is for academic advice, career guidance, or internship searches, do not hesitate to reach out to the teaching teams. They are here to support you and maximise your chances of success!
5. Is the mid-year intake only available in Paris? Is it available at bachelor and mastère level?
Yes, the mid-year intake is only available at our Paris campus! You can join the Mastère Prep or our B3 AI & Automation via the mid-year intake. At the moment we do not offer a Mastère mid-year intake at Digital Campus Paris, but by joining the February Mastère Prep, you will be able to enrol in a Mastère from September! You can however get in touch with our team to discuss your project.
