One week to celebrate digital technology with purpose!
The original idea behind the Maker Week: to bring together key technologies and positive-impact projects through the Master's students at Digital Campus. In other words, the Maker Week is a celebration of purposeful digital technology — how blockchain, 3D printing, augmented reality, or podcasts can be used to benefit projects in science, culture, social inclusion, and sustainable development, thanks to the creativity of the school's students.
Since learning by doing and doing with purpose are the two pedagogical pillars of the school, students make the most of their introduction to a technology or tool — chosen from 12 Workshops — to respond to a brief set by a positive-impact organisation, thanks to our partners Singa, Creatis, Ashoka, L'escalator, and the Social Innovation Accelerator of the French Red Cross (Croix Rouge Française).
This 2023 edition will bring together 340 Master's students from 5 to 9 June, who will be introduced to Adobe, Ausha, Autodesk, Figma, Microsoft, IBM, Alegria, and Tableau technologies through workshops on Video Editing, Augmented Reality, No Code, Podcast, 3D Printing, AI Chatbot, Data Visualisation, and more…
On the final day of the Maker Week, Friday 9 June, each student group will have produced a prototype responding to the brief using the tools provided by our software publisher partners — all market leaders in their field.
This day, entitled the Maker Fair, will be an opportunity to celebrate purposeful digital technology through the discovery of our students' projects, conferences, and even more surprises!
We look forward to seeing you from 5 to 9 June!
