Tuesday 22 March, the Rennes campus is buzzing. No fewer than 80 students split into 14 groups take turns to present the fruit of 6 months of work. A close-up on how the day unfolded.
The day's recap
[8:30 a.m.] Let's go! The jury arrives. Cindy Moreau is a communications manager and Thomas Fournet a UX designer at an agency. After a coffee with the school team, they are in the starting blocks, eager to discover our students' projects.
[9 a.m.] First group. The pressure builds. The door opens. Here they are: Glenn, Malo, François, Kevin, Cyprien and Pierre take the stage. The time it takes to plug in their presentation and the show begins. In 15 minutes, they unveil the new website for Sennelier - the leading supplier of materials for painters - and the video that will immerse the visitor in the workshops of this company proud of its craftsmanship.
[9:30 a.m.] New team, new project. We head into the world of pet shops with MonIgloo, an online pet shop. Frédéric's group revamped the visual identity and proposed a blog as well as an editorial line for social media. Quite naturally, Cindy focuses on questions relating to project management, and Thomas shares his design expertise with the students.

[10 a.m.] Successful take-off for the company Ma Compagnie, which rents out private jets. A magnificent logo applied across many media, a clean website, an innovative connected onboard entertainment system. In 6 months, Aurélien and Victor's teams didn't sit idle "Well done, guys! Great work". Romain Maulavé, founder of Ma Compagnie, is on cloud nine., [1:00 p.m.] It's the lunch break. And also time for the half-day debrief. An e-commerce wine site, the promotion of the international festival of young fashion designers, a tourist guide to the bay of Mont St Michel... The jury was not bored "the future looks more digital than ever". Olivier, coordinator of the major projects in Rennes, starts to ease the pressure., [2 p.m.] The afternoon begins with a Nantes start-up, "Team-Officine". This job board created by a pharmacist gave students the opportunity to propose a digital strategy to promote the platform's services to pharmacies and pharmacy students., [2:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.] Tick-tock, tick-tock, time flies, and the presentations follow one after another. Hiboost, Divvy Média, two digital agencies, then RégionsJob, a long-standing partner of DC Rennes – not a single yawn from the jury, still as focused and constructive in its comments – and after a detour via "Les Jardins de Brocéliande", a 100% female law firm comes to close out the day., [5 p.m.] Tired smiles, a completely won-over jury, empty coffee cups, a few exchanges to score as accurately as possible the commitment of each group. It's time for the souvenir photos. But already we're thinking about the next academic year, and the grand launch of future projects! So see you in September to discover the new challenges that the DC Rennes students will have to take on!, A project to remember?, Arnaud Jugan's project is among our favourites: it invites us to discover Mont Saint-Michel, notably through his childhood memories.
