French Tech Toulouse x Digital Campus
This year, Digital Campus Toulouse became a labelled partner of La French Tech Toulouse.
This is an opportunity for our students to showcase their talents and expand their network through all the past and future collaborations with La French Tech. We are proud and delighted about this partnership.
Let's look back at the beginnings of this new partnership.
What is La French Tech?
The French Tech initiative was born at the end of 2013, driven by the belief that fostering the emergence of start-ups is key to generating economic value and jobs. The French government wants to help these small businesses grow: « The French Tech initiative is not the State laying down the rules — it's the State providing support. It's a shared ambition, driven by the State but built and carried forward with all stakeholders. »
More concretely, French Tech is a label awarded to those who work in or for French start-ups, both in France and abroad. The initiative is present as an association in more than 100 cities worldwide. French Tech's mission: to make France one of the most attractive countries in the world for start-ups looking to launch, conquer international markets and build a meaningful future.
Digital Campus x La French Tech Toulouse
This year, Digital Campus Toulouse became a labelled partner of La French Tech Toulouse, with the aim of promoting the projects and talents of our students. Our students now have access to programmes and events centred on positive themes such as the environment or women in tech, to raise awareness of innovation and inspire entrepreneurial ambition.
Members of La French Tech Toulouse also contribute to the development of our school by sitting on juries at our DCStart events — Digital Campus's entrepreneurship programme.
For our students, it's a great opportunity to raise their profile and show professionals their potential. It's also a chance to expand their network and meet people who can support them in building their project or finding an internship or work-study placement.
From next year onwards, our partnership with La French Tech will deepen with the creation of workshops for our students on campus.
It's "Time to be together"!
Tuesday, July 6th was an opportunity to re-energise the entire Toulouse ecosystem post-Covid with the "Time to be together" event, held at La Cité, the first innovation accelerator run by the Occitanie Region.
From 3pm onwards, dozens of entrepreneurs shared their experiences through round tables and workshops on topics including deeptech, funding and impact. The aim was to reconnect and meet all the players in the Toulouse tech ecosystem.
This marks a return to "real life" for a large number of Toulouse-based start-ups.
