Access to professional web training (read the good reasons to take a web training programme) can be achieved in different ways. It is possible to use hours accumulated through the individual training entitlement (DIF — Droit Individuel à la Formation) or through individual training leave (CIF — Congé Individuel de Formation). Funding assistance is also available.
Digital Campus offers several web training programmes:

DIF and CPF

The individual training entitlement (DIF — Droit Individuel à la Formation) allows employees in both the public and private sectors to accumulate 24 hours of training per year, carried over throughout their career.
Despite being abolished in 2015, the DIF remains an acquired right that employees can use to access the professional web training offered by Digital Campus. Since 2015, the DIF has been replaced by the Personal Training Account (CPF — Compte Personnel de Formation) (our students took part in the CPF HackTaFormation), allowing employees aged 16 and over to accumulate 24 hours of training entitlement per year up to 120 hours, and then 12 hours per year up to 150 hours. Accumulated training hours remain valid even if the employee changes employer.
It should be noted that training programmes that validate employees' knowledge and skills, as well as prior learning assessment (VAE — Validation des Acquis de l'Expérience), are automatically eligible for the CPF.

Individual training leave (CIF — Congé Individuel de Formation) is another option available to employees wishing to follow Digital Campus's professional web training. It allows the employment contract to be suspended for a period ranging from 30 hours to 1 year in the case of full-time training, without having to resign., However, the maximum duration is limited to 1,200 hours if the training is part-time or takes place on a discontinuous basis. The employee may follow the same training in several stages, but the total duration of CIF may not exceed 3 years. During this period, the employee will continue to receive their salary., However, the amount paid by the employer will correspond to 80% of the normal remuneration if the employee earns more than €2,933.24.

Other options for funding training

If the number of free training hours accumulated through the CPF is not sufficient to follow Digital Campus's professional web training, the employee may opt for self-funding., If the beneficiary is unemployed, they can take advantage of the return-to-employment allowance (ARE — Aide au Retour à l'Emploi) to fund part of their training., If they are recognised as having a disability, the Agefiph may fund part of the programme., It is also possible to turn to local authorities (municipality, department, or region), which provide assistance on a case-by-case basis.
