The first hackathon of the year in Montpellier, on the theme of Healthcare!
The first long-awaited event took place on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 8:15 AM: the Master's Hackathon!
We had the pleasure of welcoming nearly a hundred students from the Master's in Digital Strategy — all while respecting health and safety guidelines — to take part in this intense 36-hour format with our partner company.
To kick off the day in style, a delicious breakfast was specially prepared for our hungry students: an assortment of muffins, coffee, tea, French toast, donuts…
A big thank you to our partner Columbus Café & Co at the Odysseum shopping centre in Montpellier, who is sponsoring various events at Campus du Millénaire for the 2020/2021 academic year.
The sponsor is revealed via video: it is the new Clinique Saint Jean Sud de France, which opened its doors at the end of the summer. A standing ovation for Joanna Le Vaillant, head of communications, digital and events, who presented the history of the Cap Santé group, its values, and the challenge to the students: “How can we develop, energise, and promote the future website capsanteevents.com?” for the inauguration of its connected amphitheatre dedicated to medical innovation.
Students asked the essential questions to move their group projects forward, supported by Sébastien Cambon, coach and trainer, a loyal figure since the very beginning at Digital Campus Montpellier, as well as Lucie Delplanque, academic coordinator.
The room allocation allowed teams to brainstorm, exchange ideas, sketch, and laugh, well into the night.
The final stretch before the oral presentation…
The following day, our future experts refined their work before delivering the final oral presentation: diverse, ambitious, and innovative projects with well-crafted staging and pitches!
The Clinique Saint Jean team commended the professionalism and quality of the proposals delivered in such a short time — words that were a real boost of confidence for the teams.
The winners were announced and rewarded! They will be invited, as soon as the situation allows, to attend the inauguration of the connected amphitheatre, surrounded by the region's leading medical specialists and members of the Cap Santé executive committee, whom we once again warmly thank.
