On Wednesday, March 9th, 18 ESG students had the chance to discover Digital Campus for a full day. On the agenda: a hackathon that gave students the opportunity to share their skills and deepen their knowledge.
What is a hackathon?
A full day dedicated to a real business case. For this hackathon, students were asked to work on the company Give In Sport, which provides services for professional sports clubs. The company's main goal is to motivate supporters to donate to sports clubs to help them grow.
How the day unfolded: Upon arrival, students were welcomed with breakfast. After forming six mixed teams combining Digital Campus and ESG students, they were presented with the hackathon brief and theme. Throughout the day, students from both schools were able to share their respective skills to achieve the best possible outcome.
Lunchtime: pizza for everyone! This created a friendly atmosphere among all the teams — a relaxing moment that students greatly appreciated, giving them a chance to connect and unwind before getting back to their projects and the afternoon presentations.
A final presentation to wrap up the day: At the end of the day, all six teams presented their work to the two co-founders of Give In Sport and to Adrien ROUXEL, Development Manager at DC. The winning team took home tickets to a handball match and a dinner at a restaurant. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this hackathon a success!
