Sicoval and Berger Levrault harnessed the skills of our young talents to propose solutions to internal challenges within their organisations, centred on the theme of citizenship.
Two major players from the south-east of Toulouse — Sicoval and Berger Levrault — called upon our students during a "civic tech hackathon" (civictech). This event brought together 70 students, divided into 12 teams, over 16 and 17 April. For 36 hours, they worked on solving two specific challenges facing these organisations. The event took place at Digital Campus Toulouse.
Sicoval & Berger Levrault: two major players in search of solutions.
During this Hackathon, first-year students from the Master's in Digital Strategy tackled new ways of thinking about and experiencing citizenship 2.0, and responded to the challenges set by the two organisations:
- For Sicoval: How can digital tools be used to boost civic participation among young people?
- For Berger Levrault: How can citizen feedback be improved following a visit to a local authority? Students proposed various approaches: refreshing the brand image through tools, services, and content; creating a user feedback collection app; or designing a thoughtfully structured user journey based on user experience (UX design).
Creativity and collaboration: these are the watchwords of this challenge. Digital Campus brings together many profiles with cross-disciplinary skills, making them particularly well-suited to proposing innovative new concepts. Our UX designer students, marketing experts, developers, and communications specialists combined their skills to imagine and design the digital solutions of tomorrow. Working under time pressure to fuel idea generation — that is the core challenge of the hackathon., Congratulations to the 3 winning groups for the relevance and originality of their proposals. The organisations behind these projects were won over by the quality of the solutions put forward, and we thank them for their continued trust!
