What are the Digital Campus Grand Projects (Grands Projets)?

Stress, pressure, excitement — these three words sum up Wednesday, March 22, 2023… Do you know why? Because that was the day Digital Campus students finally got to present their project after 6 months of preparation! Six groups gave everything they had before a panel of judges made up of project managers Jennifer LIENHART, Vanessa BISCHWILLER, as well as Jérôme HERR and Virginie LERDUNG.

In October 2022, Digital Campus students had the opportunity to attend pitches from 8 companies presenting their projects based on specific needs — website development, graphic design, video production, and more.

Acting as true digital experts, students worked in agency mode on a real project carried by a company or an association.

After a rigorous selection process, the students chose the following project holders: Association Valeur Dire (Urban culture), ABC Formation Alsace (Hiking), 7vies (Clothing), Cheelo (Driving school), Bemotion.TV (TV/Radio channel), Gin Wackesn (Festive beverage).

From 1st-year Bachelor students to 1st-year Master's students, including preparatory classes, students took part in the Digital Campus Grand Projects over 6 months. Each one progressed at their own pace, showcasing their skills and sharing knowledge with their peers, all in order to present their project with one unified voice.

The school's goal is to immerse students in the business world and confront them with the challenges they will face in their careers. This type of project also helps develop long-term partnerships between the local business ecosystem, the school, and its students.

“Getting into real-world situations is the key to know-how”, recalls Loïc Matti, director of the Kampus de Strasbourg.

After 15 long minutes of deliberation, the result was finally announced! The team of Camille CHOMIK, Fiona Kempé, Esma GÜLER, Clémentine Hoffmann, and Fares Mejri took 1st place in the 1st Edition of the Digital Campus Grand Projects.

The victory was a deeply emotional moment for the group, as well as for their friends and instructors who supported them throughout the project. Their relentless efforts and creativity paid off, and they were rewarded for their exceptional work.

Alsace Business TV won over the jury and received the jury's favourite award (coup de cœur). The project led by Serge Komi GBEDESSI, Calvincia Tisha ABEME NGUEMA, Nadia OUALI, Louis Palma, and Moustapha BAMBA convinced the panel with its originality and feasibility.

However, the project holders decided not to stop there. To make their presentation even more impactful and professional, they chose to redo it by filming it in a real studio. This new version will highlight all the strengths of their project and attract the attention of potential investors. Alsace Business TV is determined to keep up the momentum and make a name for itself in the startup world.

This inaugural edition of the Grand Projects (GPDC) for the Kampus de Strasbourg was an emotionally rich experience for the students from Alsace. Thanks to the school's Grand Projects, students had the opportunity to work on real projects in partnership with companies and associations. This experience allowed them to face the challenges of the professional world and develop their skills in teamwork, communication, and creativity.

The victory of the Valeur Dire team and the jury's special recognition for the Alsace Business TV project are a testament to the quality of work produced by the students. This experience also strengthened ties between the school, its students, and the local business ecosystem, fostering the creation of lasting partnerships. Congratulations to all participants for their exceptional work!
