The closing ceremony of Digital Week took place on Friday, 29 November 2019, at the amphitheatre of Groupe ISM. Over 48 hours, from 27 to 28 November 2019, 55 teams of 8 students from the Engineering School and Digital Campus of Groupe ISM took part in the Hackathon on the digitalisation of traditional games and toys.

In the presence of Mr. Abdou Diouf, General Director of Groupe ISM, Mr. Mbaye Amar, Director of Digital Campus ISM, and Ms. Thérèse Faye Diouf, General Director of the National Agency for Early Childhood and the Children's Centres (ANPECTP — Agence Nationale de la Petite Enfance et de la Case des Tout-Petits), accompanied by Directors, Project and Programme Managers and Agency staff, as well as ISM students, competitors each presented their project in turn.

Of the 55 projects submitted, 15 were selected by the jury, which comprised ISM professors, Mr. Maguette Mbow, Founding President of « L'Afrique C'est Chic World », an economic, social and cultural innovation platform for Africa, and Mr. Mohamed Adama Thiam, Head of the ICT and Information Systems Unit at ANPECTP. Traditional games and toys such as « Langa bouri », « xandal », « le toukoussou ngalam » and certain popular folk tales were transformed into interactive, personalised games through the power of digital technology.
This event was held as part of the Hackathon on the digitalisation of traditional games and toys, organised by the National Agency for Early Childhood and the Children's Centres, L'Afrique C'est Chic World and Groupe ISM Digital Campus.
Launched on 21 November 2019, this IT competition attracted nearly 500 participants with diverse profiles, including illustrators, graphic designers, visual artists, developers, designers, and 3D makers — all working in the digital field.
The Early Childhood Hackathon is organised as a lead-up to the Forum on the digitalisation and manufacture of traditional games and toys, a major innovation of the 2019 edition of the National Week of Early Childhood and the Children's Centres, scheduled from 9 to 15 December 2019.

The competition will close on 6 December 2019, and the best applications and/or games will be awarded on the day of the Forum, during the early childhood gala dinner on Friday, 13 December 2019, at the Museum of Black Civilisations.
