For Nantes Digital Week, Digital Campus in Nantes and the Motion Lab are joining forces to offer a one-of-a-kind stop motion workshop. From 2 pm to 5 pm, dive into the fascinating world of digital and let your imagination run free.

The stop motion workshop is an exceptional opportunity for prospective students and their families to explore the many facets of the world of communication.

Whether you are passionate about animation, curious to explore digital tools, or simply looking for a creative activity, this workshop is for you.

By taking part in this workshop, you will have the opportunity to meet domain experts, network and develop new skills that will serve you throughout your journey. The workshop is open to everyone — whether you are a student looking to learn more about Digital Campus programmes, a digital enthusiast, or a family wanting to spend a fun and educational afternoon. No prior experience required!

• Introduction to the Motion Lab and brainstorming for a stop-motion loop (10-15 min): introduction to the Motion Lab, handling shapes, creating characters and storyboarding the animation.
• Creating a stop motion (10-15 min): filming and animating the short film designed by participants.
• Graphic design with Canva (10 min): retrieving the stop-motion loop and formatting it using Canva.
• Introduction to the webmaster profession (10 min).
• Publishing the videos on the Motion Lab website and sharing the films on social media.
