From Tuesday 5 April to Tuesday 9 April, 93 Digital Campus students were involved in various digital events, giving them the opportunity to develop their skills, meet industry professionals and work collaboratively with other participants in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The Innovation Village: 15 students – 1st-year Bachelor


The Innovation Village offers a genuine discovery trail, guiding curious visitors through a wide variety of thematic spaces featuring more than 60 exhibitors! 
Robots, 3D printers, connected objects, Oculus Rift and augmented reality, mobile applications could all be tested on site, across major themes: play, learn, move, tinker, share, and care, including:

Digital Campus students had the privilege of acting as mediators across the various spaces, introducing as many people as possible to the solutions, new technologies and innovations from all these startups and companies.
Innovation Night: 27 students – 2nd-year Bachelor, The general public had the opportunity to discover, through more than forty conferences and workshops, the latest trends in digital technology and innovation in the broadest sense: e-education, innovative European projects, open-source computing, geek culture, transmedia, storytelling, artificial intelligence…, Students from participating schools presented the public with concrete achievements, from robotics and Arduino systems to connected objects, game arts, game design and augmented reality., A moment designed to engage secondary school students exploring career paths in the digital sector, as well as curious visitors keen to take the pulse of the local community, complemented by international innovators. DC Lab students from Digital Campus showcased their latest productions: holograms and 3D prints., 27 students acted as mediators throughout the evening across all welcome areas and conference spaces. A friendly event that allowed students to mix skills with peers from other schools and connect with the local digital ecosystem, while enjoying the various digital activities and talks.

La Grande Jonction: 28 students – Passerelle

This FrenchTech Bordeaux event creates a direct link between professionals from the traditional economy and the digital economy through a day of testimonials from local and international players, case studies, conferences and workshops. 

International experts came to share their experience around startups and French-speaking ecosystems. Our students were responsible for all mediation and reception duties for every professional registered at this event.

On the agenda, high-quality conferences covering a wide range of topics:

  • Connected commerce
  • Acceleration and shared startup-nation experience
  • Cross-pollination between French-speaking ecosystems
  • User experience

Many prominent speakers took part in these conferences, including Nicolas GAUME, appointed in 2015 as head of the Developer eXperience (DX) division at Microsoft France.
