On Tuesday, March 22nd, around fifty DC Bordeaux students met with nearly 20 partner companies for a speed recruiting session. It was an opportunity for them to sharpen their pitches ahead of the multiple interviews they would need to ace to secure a work-study (alternance) placement. To better understand where and how to find a work-study placement, it is essential to be familiar with the right tools, platforms, and strategies for seeking out opportunities.
The speed dating concept
Still very much in vogue today, despite the widespread use of the internet, speed dating is based on the idea that job seekers must sell themselves in under 10 minutes to secure a second interview — where candidates can then express their motivations in greater depth.

A successful day: Many company representatives from a wide range of businesses were in attendance. Overall, the day was highly productive, as most of them offered DC students the chance to come in for a second interview at their offices. We warmly thank all the companies that agreed to take part, and of course our DC Bordeaux students for how thoroughly they prepared for this unique event!
