In our series of “partner portraits”, today we present a group portrait, featuring the DC PRO cohort from Digital Campus Lyon hosted at Cegid…
Who are you?
We are the DC PRO4 cohort at Digital Campus Lyon, a specialist digital school training young people from post-secondary to Master’s level, as well as professionals looking to change careers. Digital Campus is a network of several campuses that today welcomes nearly 700 students across Lyon, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Rennes, and Toulouse.
Who is DC PRO?, These are adults who have already had 3, 5, or 10 years of professional experience and are now retraining for careers in the digital sector, with the goal of becoming future web project managers., What is DC PRO 2016?, It is a 6-month full-time programme that started last October and ends with a practical work placement. This year, there are about ten adults — both men and women — coming from a wide variety of professional backgrounds, including sport, healthcare, media, and tourism., What are Digital Campus and the CEGID Foundation doing together?, Each year, DIGITAL CAMPUS speaks on a digital theme, under the name #DMUMD (Draw Me a Digital Career)., Following the theme “Women & Digital” in 2016, the 2017 conference will focus on “Employment & Digital”. A topic that is also one of the Foundation’s key areas of action as part of its commitment to education and entrepreneurship in the digital sphere., This conference will be held at Cegid in Lyon and will welcome numerous speakers who are key players in the employment landscape in the digital age (start-ups, SMEs, large corporations, recruitment firms, etc.)., And it is the DC PRO cohort that has taken charge of organising and communicating around the event (content management, graphic design, website, etc.)., From the DC PRO4 2016 cohort, busy preparing for the 21 March conference, we met Pascaline and Franck. Pascaline, after 10 years of team coordination experience at an international player in the luxury food industry, wanted to take on a new professional challenge; since last September she has been part of the 2016 cohort., Franck is a former dancer and choreographer. When it came to retraining, he immediately thought of the web, which was close to the creative world he had always loved., To meet Pascaline, Franck, Mickaël, Julie, Olivier, Ana, Karine, Sofia, Adile, and Marc-Antoine, all members of DC PRO4 2016, and to find out more about the new challenges of recruitment in this field, join us on 21 March!
