On Monday and Tuesday, 17 and 18 December, the DC Teach sessions took place at Digital Campus Toulouse.

Throughout the day, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., more than 60 second-year Master’s students taught classes to first-year Master’s students.

A wide and varied range of digital topics were covered over these two days, such as “The Google algorithm”, “Organic SEO” and “Growth Hacking”.

This is also the second year that Digital Campus Toulouse has been collaborating with the Master’s students from ESG Toulouse (a Toulouse-based business school located on the ENOVA campus). They also run classes on freely chosen topics in order to present them to the students of their own school.

The second-year Master’s students therefore prepared a 30-minute to one-hour class to present to a group made up of first-year Master’s students and a jury of teachers and instructors. The exercise had to be carried out in a professional and interactive manner in order to fully capture the audience’s attention.

All the students played along, stepping to the other side of the desk and becoming teachers for a day.

Was there a project that particularly stood out to you? Yes, it was a class on the theme of “How to pitch like a pro”.
In your view, what do the DC Teach sessions bring to students? Through this exercise, students learn to manage a group, convey information and structure a presentation. By stepping into the teacher’s shoes, they get a better sense of the reality of an instructor’s work, and it helps them with public speaking.
