The team at Digital Campus Rennes wanted to get back in touch with Arnaud Jugan, a guide of the bay of Mont Saint-Michel and the sponsor of a major project in 2015.

That year, on the advice of a friend, he contacted Lucie Baudouin, the school's director, to tell her about his digital communications needs.

From that very first contact, a project that everyone fell in love with took shape, and our bay guide came to present his passion-driven profession and his project to all the students of the Intensive-track Bachelor's programme and the first and second years of the Web Bachelor's programme, at the major launch event in October.

A presentation that, as he recalls, was not without stress for him: "I wasn't used to the exercise and I didn't have any presentation materials. On top of that, major companies were also there to showcase their projects, which added extra pressure. I was afraid the students wouldn't choose me." But Arnaud is passionate, and his words touched the audience through their simplicity and sincerity. A large number of students said they were keen to support him., Describing himself as "not at all into computers", he needed help to create his own website and to give a fresh perspective on his activity and his projects., His need therefore translated into the creation and roll-out by the students of a simple, clean website that truly reflects his values as an experienced local guide.
The students came on site to "immerse" themselves in the world of the bay of Mont Saint-Michel and its salt meadows, both in summer and in winter. The aim was to soak up the atmosphere and the history of the place, as well as Arnaud's profession, while taking as many photos as possible to feed his future website.
Four years have gone by and Arnaud is absolutely delighted with this collaboration with Digital Campus and the group of students who fully took ownership of the project. This work has paid off because, since the creation of his website:, one fifth of the messages received on the site congratulate him on his platform, he estimates that his client base has grown by 50% in three years (notably thanks to the advertising brochures created by the DC students), What is certain is that Arnaud will keep very fond memories of his collaboration with the students, who were always there at the slightest issue on the platform and who were very good at explaining things. He now wants to improve his website by adding a photo gallery., To conclude, a few words from the man himself: "A big thank you to you all, and please don't hesitate to come and see me again. I'll be sure to take you out for a little tour. ;)", Digital opens every door, all the way out to this magnificent bay of Mont Saint-Michel!
