On Tuesday 9 January, the interim presentations of the Digital Campus Major Projects took place at Digital Campus Bordeaux.
With 27 March 2018 approaching, the aim of these interim oral presentations is to assess the progress of the projects and the deliverables requested by sponsors from the local Bordeaux and Aquitaine ecosystem: companies, public and private institutions, and associations on a wide and varied range of topics: ecology, art, wine, health and well-being, transport, luxury hospitality, insurance, sport, etc.
This year, Bordeaux has 18 sponsors for 160 students: Aéroclub Bordeaux, Archidvisor, Axa Wealth Services, Blue Valley, Musée de la Mer et de la Marine, French Poupon, Grand Cru du Monde, GT Location, Taximètre, Monsieur Gadget, Musée des Beaux Arts, My Program, Ôboem, Plastic Odyssée, Redan/Radisson Blu, S 24, Terres de Vin and Weenove.
Our students have been working on these topics in agency mode every Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. since 19 September 2017.
The idea behind the major projects is to mix all of our students’ levels in order to form teams of different ages and all kinds of skills.
Our teams, made up of students from the Bachelor, intensive-track bridging year and Master’s programmes, are working on specific deliverables for 27 March: application development, visual identity creation, showcase website creation, 360° communication strategy from print to web including event creation, online marketing strategy, video creation, motion design, etc.
The sponsors’ feedback following the presentations on 9 January was a breath of fresh, positive air for our students. Hugs, smiles, supportive looks of solidarity, thanks and gratitude. A genuine synergy was created between our students and the professionals.
The jury for the day, made up of the Digital Campus teaching team and outside professionals, was unanimous on certain values that came through in the presentations, alongside the quality of the project content: commitment, solidarity, professionalism.
We are eagerly awaiting the presentations on 27 March, which will be the culmination of our students’ work and the launch of our sponsors’ projects.
See you on Tuesday 27 March at the Station Ausone (Mollat) at 9 a.m. The event is open to the public.
